Gay Tom Tom Gay The new sexual orientation in Thailand
Thailand is the place of anything goes sexually. There are gays, lesbians, Toms, Dees, Krathoys but now there is a new trend that i've never seen before, the Gay Tom or Tom Gay. Confused? I know I am! Toms are what we'd call Butch lesbians but they are a lot different than what we'd expect to see in the West.
For a brief on the different types of lesbians please read my post on Thai lesbians first. Tom's are the guys to the Dees. In essence they are essentially men but without the important part between their legs. They want to chop their tits off and never get naked in front of the Dees. But now I've seen everything with the Gay Toms. There is a growing group of girls who have chose to be Toms but seem to like other Toms which is why they are called the Gay Toms or Tom Gays.
Now i'm sure this isn't that new but I've never seen it before and I showed a few Thai people who were completely perplexed as well. Mostly we want to know how it works especially since in Thailand Toms never get nakid or so at least they admit.
Essentially they are just lesbians but don't try to tell them that they will get angry and probably never talk to you again. They hate men which doesn't make sense since they want to be men.
Chiang Mai has the highest concentration of gays and lesbians anywhere in the country. I'm not saying anything is wrong with that but honestly don't understand this new trend I'm seeing here. I've been out a bit in the past month and have seen this new trend growing. I guess I'm just annoyed because the girls up north they are a different breed altogether and are super scared of everything which might explain why they are turning to the other side in droves. I mean get this you go to a Thai nightclub here and half will be lesbian a quarter will have a boyfriend and out of the rest well you've got a 20% chance they won't be scared of farang.
So what's it like in the rest of the country? You see many gay toms in Bangkok or Phuket? How about in Isaan any gay toms?
