When I moved to Thailand in 2009 I must admit I felt a little green but luckily I had some old timers around to get me up to speed. I remember one conversation with a mate Gary (real name withheld) who told me how to look at Thai girls here. He said there was a number on each girl at first I thought he was talking about the badges with numbers on them in the Go Go bars but no. The number for each Thai Girl was the number of baht you’d have to pay out to be with her.
At the time I was 28. Now 28 you can still let lots of Thai girls that want nothing more than a good roll in the hay. After 50 most guys have told me that it’s no longer like that and from what I’ve seen I believe it too. Most the guys who read this blog are at least 15 years older than I am and I thank the heavens that I discovered LOS in time that I’ve had the benefits of being younger in this country of limitless fresh thin sweet eager p…..
With each passing day I’m growing closer and closer to the inevitable. The Thai girls are more and more looking at me with $$ signs in their eyes and their hand open. Especially for the younger ones 10 years my junior. I’ve been told this is the start and back to my mate Gary the numbers are becoming more and more visible.
Gary’s explanation was actually pure genius he explained to me by looking at a Thai girl you can determine the price you’d have to pay for her. The pricing system by the way doesn’t work on Gary’s system because they are all pretty standard rates 500-5000 per night, real Thai girls well the ones that arn’t outright hookers anyway work on a monthly salary whether they work or not someone has to give them money every month, it’s what you get in return depends on what sort of money you pay in return.
Please no comments saying I’m the jerk because what I’m saying here is the truth and how it works in Thailand whether you agree or not this is how things are. Accept it.
How much are Thai girls worth
So Gary says you look at a Thai girl and based on how she is dressed whether her hair is dyed, her age, and level of looks based on a scale from 0-10.
You have probably rated Thai girls on the scale before this is the normal way to rate girls. But Gary says for Thai girls you need to consider the other facts.
A girl with dyed hair for example will add another 1000-3000 baht onto your monthly bill. A girl with fair skin will always cost 30% more than a girl with darker skin. (A girl with fair skin will almost always give you less bang for your buck).
A younger prettier Thai girl is worth more and we used to sit down at dinner a lot and watch the girls walk past putting numbers to each of them. Costs for Thai girls range from 3000 baht a month which you’d likely get action now and then and she is not going to be the best looking girl. Maybe you have higher standards and you go for the mid range about 15,000 baht a month. Your likely to get a girl aged 23-25 good looking but she’s likely to work a lot still. Problem with a girl that much is especially if your not single you might only get 4 or 5 opportunities a month so really it’s costing you 3-4000 baht a time. Not good value for money.
Gary says that Thai girls all have a “willing to do anything for money policy” and that breaking point is typically 5 times the number on their head.
Just because the price goes up doesn’t mean you get more quality time, you just get more quality the action. The average Coyote dancer in Thailand may make 20-40,000 a month. She’s good looking, great body and happy to accept the cash. If you paid out 30,000 a month you can pretty much have the pick of most good looking girls in Thailand. But depending on Gary’s rule depends on what you get. See you could pay 30,000 a month to a 3,000 a month girl and she will be at your beck and call and pretty much do anything you ask. But give 30,000 baht to a 20,000 baht girl and she will be much better looking but won’t do as much. Gary says that Thai girls all have a “willing to do anything for money” and that breaking point is typically 5 times the number on their head.
A 20,000 baht a month Thai girl has been getting the money from somewhere before you met her, she got the money to dye her hair, do her nails, dress in stilettos, and use an iPhone. Now if you want to be the new carer of this girl (which has the added benefit of being able to nail her when you want) your going to have to pay that number, without paying you may only get it once or twice until she realises you arn’t going to help out.
Thai girls work by the month, they pay all their bills on a monthly basis and will be seeking you out before and after the end of the month. If your seeing a Thai girl casually, never ever make yourself available between the dates 25 until the 7th the next month. This is what I call the hot season. This is when Thai girls are the hottest for money (an expression borrowed from Thai people). It’s a fact that during these dates are the time Thai girls are most actively seeking money. I see it with Thai girls online and other girls I meet.
Going from what it’s worth to what you pay for a Thai girl
Gary also explains that going from the number you’ve put on the girls head to how much you end up paying is a process on it’s own. You can’t simply walk up to a normal Thai girl and say “hey I’ll give you 10,000 baht a month to do this that and this”.Normal Thai girls have more respect than that. They arn’t cheap hookers. They’re expensive playmates and long term escorts. 
You have to get into their head, what they want. Typically it’s three things, money for their family. Enough money to buy clothes and fit themselves out. And someone to be there when they want to talk. Well the last thing let her friends take care of that. Especially if it’s going to be your gik, but as a girlfriend you might just have to suck that shite up.
Once you’ve figured out more about her change your figures re-evaluate the situation yourself. Then decide what your willing to pay. You may have to play a sort of courtship with the girl. Each time you meet mention how you’d like to take care of her. Say the word “Take Care” in English. It envelopes everything. After about the 10th time you’ve seen here you need to press her then for an answer. If she says no then don’t call her don’t see her nothing.
I don’t care how many of them say no this is what happens. They get stuck somehow and need assistance and call you up. It may be when they’ve lost their job or in a hard time. And this is when you can strike. You’ve allready done the background work and got a fair market value. I had a girl 2 years ago ask me to do this. I said when you finish school give me a call. 2 years later she graduated 12th grade a month later she called me up and was ready to do it. Later I found out she went and got a job for 10,000 and didn’t like having to work so she called me because she could make more money for doing less.
Another girl I know worked as PR at Omallys bar in Chiang Mai. She was hot and had dollar signs in her eyes. Around 22 and knew I had a g/f. She didn’t want to date me because I had a girlfriend but after pressing and pressing for months she finally agreed to get together agreed price of 10,000 a month.
The good thing about these types of transactions is for what $330 a month a pretty good deal. She doesn’t bug you for money as much because your already giving it to her. You don’t have to live with her, she will meet you where and when and is obligated to perform. But as soon as you get bored or it’s more of a chore than anything cut it off. Many guys might have to grow some balls to do this part but it’s needed. You ever fired someone? Same thing. Do exactly the same thing if you want to re-negotiate for a better deal. I use re-negotiations to get added extras. It’s hard to take the money away from her without her being bitter but you getting more things you want for the same money is your ultimate goal. So leave room for growth in your expectations.
So next time your out with the boys instead of calling 6, 9, and 10′s why not try calling 3000, 10000, and 30,000 out at the girls. I don’t know if Gary invented this or not but i’ll him credit, he did introduc me to it afterall. I wonder though, what number is on your girlfriends head?

I really like your website, but this post was really shocking. Thanks for the comment Charlie, while it may seem disrespectful this is how things go for many girls in Thailand. Most don’t need a sponsor but at 20 they arn’t exactly looking to get married. If both parties agree it’s doing no harm. In the west guys might say “oh she’s a 7″ indicating her attractiveness probably just as disrespectful though when I lived in the states I had many girls that we’d just hook up for regular sex without exchanging any funds. At 66 , i think i have had enough reasons for this belief irregardless of what a child thinks… it is a relative issue..
