Merry Christmas for those Living in Thailand 2011

Well it's officially Christmas day and it's freezing outside. Since I come from Australia cold weather and Christmas just never goes together and no matter how long I stay away from the country (now 9 years) it will never feel like Christmas. I guess tommorrow will be a rather warm day and it will feel more like it. Since most of you guys reading this are from the Northern hemisphere I guess you just can't relate. But does it still feel like Christmas to you?

Christmas Tree Fashion Island

The Christmas Tree at Fashion Island Corona Del Mar in California USA where I used to live. It has the be the worlds largest live Christmas Tree.

Those of you unlucky enough to have left paradise to spend Christmas in freezing conditions I can only say I wish I wasn't there. Life is still going on here the floods are gone and the pubs are still open. Life and living in Thailand is still the same and barely misses a beat during Christmas. Hope to see you back in the Land of Smiles for New Years.

Hope you all have a Very Merry Christmas.

    Hey Chris,
Hey this is Jon residing in (and counting the days until I can step foot into Chiang Mai again and call it home) Nakhon Phanom. Have a Merry Christmas and also a great new year. And I hope we can meet up when I move to Chiang Mai sometime next year. Could you send me your email address to my email address posted?

    Take Care,
    Jon

Definitely does not feel like Christmas but(!) often neither does NC (USA) where I am from – I can recall Christmas days there in the 70’s (we use Fahrenheit).
BTW – hello to Jon who is residing in Nakhon Phanom – I went there in July with my sweetie to visit her family. Spent two days but it seemed like 4.
