Moving Company Thailand

Are you looking to move from Bangkok to say Chiang Mai or Phuket. Need a moving company that is reliable and safe? This is NOT a paid posting or something a friend made me write. In fact I use this company to send things all over the country. Nim See Sang is the largest moving company in Thailand and they don't just do moving trucks they do earth moving machinery cranes and pretty much anything to do with a motor.

I'll show you why I use this company as opposed to going with a smaller moving company. Firstly I've used this moving company for over 2 years to send packages of clothes from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. A 20 kg bag filled with commercial clothing costs me about 120baht to ship. No I didn't type incorrectly that's 120baht! And that's door to door. You can pretty much send to anywhere in the country.

If you want your stuff in a hurry then this cheap alternative probably isn't the way to go but if you don't mind waiting 1-2 weeks for your stuff to get from bangkok to chiang mai then it's fine. In fact i've sent 800kg through Nim See Sang and it cost a whopping 670baht.

Now these are commercial prices meaning that your using their service because you have a business. Now lets say you are sending personal stuff then the prices go up 5 fold. For example, say you have a couch TV stereo and a few boxes of clothes. To get that stuff to Chiang Mai you'll pay around 4000 baht which is my guess. You'll have to make sure everything is packed up yourself though, they don't do that for you, your stuff will be going on a larger truck with other peoples stuff and may be moved from a few different trucks before it reaches your destination so make sure it's wrapped properly.

Now lets say you call a private moving company in bangkok to do the same thing you'll probably end up paying 12000 baht for the same job and in the years i've used Nim See Sang i've never had 1 thing go missing, would you risk the same thing with a private moving company in Thailand?

If your doing business in Thailand and purchase products out of Bangkok to your province then you should really look into using their services because they are cheaper than all the others i've seen. They now do Fresh food deliveries and cold storage to some provinces now too.

Only problem with this company is their call center. You must call the office that is closest to your pickup site. That is a problem because typically those smaller offices do not have people who speak English. It's my recommendation that you have a Thai person call.

Nim See Sang is now the main distributor of CP products which is the largest food company in Thailand which therefore makes Nim See Sang one of the distributors in Thailand. The company started out in Chiang Mai which is probably why they still help out the little guys like me 🙂

If you'd like to contact them about moving then go to their website http://www.nimtransport.com/web/

Interesting fact about this still growing company they are now branching out into parcel posting. Probably because the government run Post Offices are over priced you can now go to a Nim Shop their called and use their DHL service point to send parcels around Thailand and through there partnership with DHL send them overseas.

Chris, DHL, Fed EX and UPS do not deliver to addresses inside Thailand, to say they do not do domestic deliveries in Thailand, only international.

They can move you across the city, across the country, or even up a floor in the same building. They guarantee an easy, hassle-free, budget-friendly move.
