Apparently what happened here was this guy in Khon Khan suspected his girlfriend of cheating on him. So she said she was going out with friends and he followed her to the department mall. The young lady in question 22y/o walked into the car park with some guy, furious the guy went to his car, put bullets in a gun he carried with him, then shot the chick in the head. Went and got some more bullets, walked back to the car and shot himself.
Be careful about Thai girls, in this case it was the Thai girl that was cheating, but if you cheat on your Thai girlfriend she's also capable of such a thing. I might have been in Thailand only 2 years but I can tell you I've heard of dozens and dozens of these cases. Thai people can be very emotional and just go crazy sometimes so be warned.
My advice to avoid all this quibble is to be as honest as you can. If you want to see someone else, tell your current girlfriend. Don't lie about it, nothing fun in that. Chances are in Thailand she will accept it. I know dozens of girls I've dated had no problem I had a girlfriend and vice versa.
