Top 25 Best Detinations in the world

According to TripAdvisor their travellor's choice awards for 2012 has the citizens and expats of Chiang Mai excited as Chiang Mai was ranked 24th out of a possible 25 top destinations in the world. While the city may be on the bottom of the list it's still the only city in Thailand to make the Cut.

Best destinations in the world

London wins top spot and New York a close second, Siem Riep made the cut because of the Ankhor Temples and surprisingly Los Angeles makes it up there too which totally surprises me as I could think of way better places to go. I don't know how they made the grade or how the list was created but i'm really proud to see Chiang Mai up there.

Who knows but for now the Trip Advisor Top 25 best destinations in the world says it's one of the best places to visit.

That’s one place I dream of going, if I go it will be for at least 3 months

From what I’ve read, what Argentinean guys have told me, and the few women I’ve met …. the women there suck. Like worse than North American women. Big attitude. Go for the architecture, not the women.
Latin America is a joke compared to Thailand, for women anyway. The guy’s who think Latin women are good have never been to Thailand that’s for sure.

mguy gets the award for single stupidest comment of 2012. Brazilian women and Brazil in general is the one country that can out do Thailand in terms of beauty and fun. I live in both places, I was in Bangkok a week ago and now I’m in Florianópolis for New Years and the rest of the summer here.

Brazilian women are amazingly hot, they have much better bodies than the thai girls do, and for sure if you’ve only experienced Thai women then you have no idea how addicted you can become to women with nice round asses. The kissing and the sex is different too, a bit more passionate, a bit more violent at times.

Brazil parties pretty hard, almost too hard in some respects.

The biggest difference though is that Brazil is not for amateurs. Thailand is easy and every bullshit traveler from stupid town first world can go there and have an easy time so long as they can throw money around. Brazil will test you and if you are not tough it will chew you up and spit you out.

For those that know both places I don’t know anyone who doesn’t like both and it’s pretty much split 50/50 on a preference for Thai women and a preference for Brazilian women. It’s two different styles of a good thing, sorta like Ferrari and Lamborghini. Personally, I prefer Brazilian women for sex and Thai women for relationships.

Don’t bother with Argentina for women because they are too hard to pick up. Colombian women are super hot even hotter than Brazilian girls but they are also a pain in the ass to meet if you are a foreigner.

Sorry dude, one exception doesn’t disprove my point.
Brazil is only one country in Latin America. And not all guys are into the big booty thing.
Why would I want things to be hard on vacation? That’s stupid. Why would I want to be tested?
Like I have time to waste when I’m spending lots of money with only a few weeks there?
You might want to look into prices in Brazil too. The big cities and tourist areas are far from cheap.

        • karmacrash January 5, 2013 at 11:40 pm #

You make a lot of good points and I agree with you on them.

“Not all guys are into the big booty thing”

True dat, this happens to be my own personal preference that came from spending time here in brazil, it was a preference that turned into an addiction when time after time I would be just about to enter a girl doggy style and be thinking “holy shit that’s the hottest ass I’ve ever seen, I can’t even believe I’m about to tap this, is it gonna be as good as looks?”, and then it gets even better. Trust me you are better off without this addiction. Stay away from Brazil.

“Why would I want things to be hard on vacation? That’s stupid. Why would I want to be tested?”

I think Brazil can be a very difficult place to vacation to and I’m not sure that I recommend it. The blog though is called living thai and I do both, I live thai and I live brazilian. Some people do like challenges in life because it makes them rise up and step to the next level of being. Living in brazil caused me to take on a lot of challenges and when I travel to other places I now have a new sense of calm and command because nowhere else is as chaotic or challenging. I love listening to people bitch and complain about Thailand because I think they don’t really know how easy they have it. If you don’t want to be tested, stay away from brazil.

“You might want to look into prices in Brazil too. The big cities and tourist areas are far from cheap.”

Yup, brazil is crazy expensive and getting more expensive with the world cup and the olympics coming to places like Rio. I know New Year’s Eve parties where I live were going from 350 USD – 1,375 USD. In fact I think brazil may have the most expensive party scene on the planet if your thing is sipping champagne with super models and celebrities. There’s other things though and the average Brazilian still manages to party harder than most people around the world while having a very modest income. If saving money is important, stay away from Brazil.

“Sorry dude, one exception doesn’t disprove my point.”

Well actually dude, I already blew the fuck out of your point which is that , “Latin America is a joke compared to Thailand, for women anyway. The guy’s who think Latin women are good have never been to Thailand that’s for sure” Brazil is 16.5 times the size of Thailand and has 3 times the population. If that’s just a single exception, it’s the fucking Burj Khalifa of exceptions.

I generally recommend to guys that like brazil to go check out thailand, and I recommend that guys that like thailand to go check out brazil. I don’t think that everyone who likes one will automatically like the other but I think there is a huge hole in your understanding about the world if you don’t at least visit and check it out.

You however I recommend to stay away from Brazil. It’s not for you.
