White guy gets beat up in Pattaya Video

The old saying "you break it you pay for it" is something I've known since I was a kid. This is how I just thought society worked in general. So when I saw this video of this Farang guy getting beat up in Pattaya that's the first thing that went into my head.

อีกแล้วครับวัยรุ่นพี่ไทยรุมตีฝรั่ง 30/03/13เรื่องรุมขอให้บอก
While I'm not a psychologist an If I try to understand the Thai mentality about beating up this guy. If I worked there or around there saw some big fat Farang screaming at my boss or co-workers sure I'd wanna go kick this guy out too. But because I'm Thai and lack the confidence to do anything by myself of course I'd have my friends there too to make me feel stronger. I don't really care about repercussions because you can't make me pay for your medical bills because I have no money. It's not really fair to seek damages from the bar owner because this is Thailand if you started firing people for bad behavior no one would work for you.

When you break something you pay for it. I was in a nightclub in Chiang Mai had a glass on the table, the table was next to the bass. The table was literally shaking and I had to hold the table so the glass wouldn't fall off. Of course it did though and I had to pay, since it was in my possession it's my responsibility can't argue with that. But then if they charged me a cleanup fee I'd be annoyed.

So this is the story that the news sites are going to run and all the Farang are either going to think like I or be completely outraged. But will the News sites tell you what the Thai's think? Doubt even Thai Visa will so I'll translate some of the comments so you know what Thai's think of this story.

What the Thai's think

User 1: If everything in the news report is a trust story about him not wanting to pay then he got what he deserved. Some Farang are mischievous and look down on Thai people.

User 2: I like what I see

User 3: He deserves it.

what Thai's think about the farang

User 1: This bastard Farang deserves what he gets. Farang are no different to some Thai people. If you've never met a  bad farang you would know.

User 2: Most Farang are bad, they like going out like this, good Farang go to the Andaman because it's peaceful and quiet and known for tourism

User 3: He deserves it............he should get kicked

The real story apparently is this guy broke the cue failed to pay, got into an argument with the lady owner pushed her then threw some bananas at her before the guys started beating on him. If you ask me, I'm with the Thai's, the guy deserved it. The two guys who beat on him are now in jail on 50,000 baht bail, no mention if this guy ended up paying for the cue or not. Stupid all round.

I would have been on the Thai site…….if they would not have turned to violence.

Pathetic all around both sides got what they “deserved”

A little tune up was good for him, he definitely didnt deserve those extras running from a block away to further stomp him and throw a helmut at his head when he was cleary down and submitted, hope its those two in the cells. This incident reminds me of an old chinese proverb says
” he who throw banana, should learn how to fight “

Chris, I rarely disagree with you but the 8th century 80IQ point of view about the farang deserves to get beat down, is BS. Nobody ever deserves to get beat down for throwing a bananna ;).

Unfortunately, some people go from party man to douchebag in less than a second. And I am speaking of the guys that beat on him. The owner could have called the cops, I have seen this happen. They are there ver quickly and in significant force. They should have come, suggeste he pay for the que and appologize or go down to the station for potential charges. They should have also had the Immigration police check his “papers” (as they do sometimes).

Had a drunk russian on Pratumnak, cause a ruckus, about 20 cops showed up. He paid his bill, paid the damages, was escorted to immigration to check him (at night btw), and a few hours later, released back to his hotel.

Obviously, bigger troublemakers could be expelled.

Most farangs don’t want the cops involved.

The chips on the shoulders around here are as big as plymouth rock.

The guy pushed the owner over and started throwing bananas at her instead of paying, he was wrong, then wrong again, the low blow kicks while his down is unfair but honestly you know you start doing that shit here you’re gonna get cracked.

Looks like a whole load of drama over nothing. Both sides need to get a grip really.

No matter what, the Thai’s are as stupid as the farrang, you dont attack a man on the ground, only weak stupid boys do that, A real man would not sink so low, I despise people beating a man on the ground and kicking him in the head, what the f.ck??? for a cue???
They should just detain him a called the police, then the two stupid thai guys would not be in jail. they got what they deserved I think. Had they called the police the farrang would have been in trouble.
Sorry, but many times thai’s are not thinking ahead, and this farrang deserves to be in jail with a big find, he is just a stupid as the rest of the mob

Having lived in Pattaya for a while I’ve seen many fights like this. Thai boys run out of the shadows to get the chance to hit a farang while he is being jumped by others.

In almost 15 years of living in Thailand I have never ONCE seen a fight between one Thai man and one farang unless it was in a ring. Every time, Thai boys who had nothing to do with it ran in from everywhere to hit the farang with bottles, sticks, and rocks. Usually from behind and when he is on the ground.

Thai boys like this ( the violent kind) are among the lowest forms of life on earth. I value the shit on the bottom of my shoes more than I do them. But life has a way of working things out as they continue to live a wretched life while I get to screw their women, have a great life, and spread my farang seed throughout their country. Darwin takes care of the rest.

I agree that. I’ve been here for only 4 years but I have seen this story so many times. The foreign man was wrong but the response was far too much.
Insult my mother because you are drunk and I break your teeth, is it fair? Think about it…
