Construction of Maya Shopping Mall Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is absolutely booming right now with so many malls being built and massive apartment buildings it's staggering. Here are photos of a brand new mall being built the Maya shopping mall in Chiang Mai. It's not huge compared to constructions in say Bangkok or even some of the other malls being built around chiang mai. But it is great for me seeing it's being built right by where I live and when I need to go to the mall watch a movie or whatever I won't have to drive so far. This is exactly what the Nimmanheiman area needed but at the same time it's going to cause the already busy Huay Kaew road into a nightmare around 6pm that will only get worse with time. Too bad if you study or work at Chiang Mai university.

These are construction pictures of the Maya shopping center it's going to look great when it's finished in the later part of 2013.
