Danish man dies at Kamala Beach Resort in Phuket Thailand

A Danish man was found dead at the Kamala Hotel Resorts garden not far from the hotel room he was staying in. The mans body was found beside a walkway that joins the bungalows in what could only be described as a garden. His right arm had wounds that the Officer on duty Lt Col Anek Mongkol, of Kamala Police Station, said could only be described as caused by a fall, however, Lt Col Anek did not speculate what may have caused contusions to the man’s face.

The danish mans body had been taken to Phuket's hospital for further analysis to the cause of his death. Hotel staff told the police that the man booked a hotel room for four nights, although police say his passport shows that he entered Thailand on June 27.

“He was last seen by a hotel security guard at about 1am. He was drinking in front of his room, but the guard paid no attention because he had seen the man spending much of his time drinking,” one police officer told the Gazette.

“We have yet to notify the Danish embassy of the man’s death. We are waiting for the report from the doctor’s examination first,” he added.

The man’s identity is being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

Authors Comment:

Sounds very suspicious that he sustained a fall, what was he climbing on the roof of his bungalow? Though the man is 62y/o walking around drunk at 1 in the morning, who knows what could have happened and it's nothing to think anything suspicious happened to the man.
