The first meeting is the most important time and you shouldn’t consider it lightly, in fact if you mess up you’ll mess any chances of ever meeting her again. Even though you’ve liked each other on the Internet doesn’t mean that you’ll like each other in person either. You will meet a wide variety of Thai girls and if you’ve passed all the landmines laid out on the dating site like the scammers and time wasters it’s still possible for things to go wrong when you meet them.
The place you meet is important because if you end up meeting some ADD retentive bitch you’re going to want to leave as quickly as possible. Same goes with if you meet a really sweet bird that you really like you want to be prepared in the right setting to take things elsewhere.
I do not recommend that you meet girls at any of the following places:
- The Movies
- Expensive restaurant
- The mall
Going to the movies is the normal first date most people do but it’s the wrong move, at the movies you have no chance to know the girl no opportunity to speak actually the only good thing about the movies is she’ll turn off her cell phone!
An expensive restaurant is also not a good place to meet either, see Thai girls are not white girls. If you take a girl to an expensive restaurant in the west it’s to make the girl feel guilty and lets you know your intentions that you’d like to get laid, in Thailand however take a Thai girl to an expensive restaurant and she’ll feel no guilt in fact she’ll more likely not go home with you because she’s already got her prize and won’t see any need to give you yours.
Taking any girl to the mall is a bad idea and should only be done as a prize and since you’re just meeting her for the first time there is no reason to go. At the mall girls want to buy things and there’s nothing wrong with buying a girl a gift at all but for the first date you want to keep it small a single 10 baht rose will make you look good you don’t need to buy her a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. Besides the shopping aspect it’s more about being comfortable. See at a mall it’s comfortable the climate is controlled and there are so many places to go inside a mall that trying to get out will come with a lot of no’s. If your aim is to sleep with the girl then your chances of success diminish the second she walks into a mall. Instead you need to take her to a place where you will be for only an hour or two then you can say let’s take this somewhere else.
You should however meet her at the following places:
- A Temple
- Park
- Seat beside the river
- Noodle Shop
- Coffee Shop
Now most people would choose the coffee shop first in fact it’s like the de facto meeting place in the west which probably accounts for why there are so many coffee shops. The coffee shop is the most convenient place to meet but it’s not exactly conducive to the right dating conditions. The best dating conditions are those that enable you to get closer to the girl, feel her out, see if she likes you, a brush of the hand see if she touches back can often tell you where you are in the date but if you’re sitting in a coffee shop where it’s crowded and you’re on those comfy seat’s it’s harder to do this.
A temple is a great place to meet a girl because you know when she makes merit she is going to feel good about herself and then by default so is your date if they have fish at the temple feed the fish if not ask her to make merit with the monks and if you can get her to throw those fortune sticks around and you might get lucky enough for it to read that she’s meeting the love of her life today! While that’s how it plays out the real reason for meeting at the temple is to have her more relaxed and comfortable with you.
Meeting at a park or beside the river is great, but even better if you can do so just as the sun is setting. A girl who is into you and is comfortable with you will be happy to sit into the night with you until you play you’re next move. At the park or river and while she is sitting down stand up and have her keep sitting down as you talk to her more try to make her laugh and feel her out see if she is into you.
The noodle shop is one of the best places to meet a Thai girl for a date, it is open and public it’s always noisy and the whole thing takes 40 minutes. The fact that noodles can take less than an hour is perfect because depending on how well the date is going you are forced to move somewhere else. Having to move somewhere else is good because if the date is going badly you can bail but if it’s going well you know where to take her next and if it’s mediocre you can ask to retire and go home and think about it some more.
There is so much more to the noodle meeting technique too like for instance knowing if she’s just after money. A Thai girl is pretty independent when it comes to her money in fact in Thai culture it’s usually the woman who takes care of the finances at home and when you think about it more nearly 90% of bank employees are women, women are always behind the cash register, and I’ve never once seen a guy doing the bills at a restaurant it’s always the woman. I know Thai girls that will live on Mama Noodles so they can go to the club on their last dine and that kinda of girl will likely let you pay for the noodles. On the other hand a responsible girl is more likely to offer to pay for her own noodles or even yours, that’s right she’ll pay for your noodles because she likes you! If you took her to an expensive restaurant she wouldn’t offer to pay and you’d never know how genuine she was because you’re showing off to her.
1) If you invite to the movies, meet at the mall and talk a little. Then tell her you need your shirt because the theater is too cold. Good excuse for both of you to go to your home to get it. You will never see a movie on that day, that’s for sure.
2) If you invite for a drink at night, meet in lobby of your home. She WILL go inside with you and the rest is history. You will never waste your money on any drinks on that day, that’s for sure.
Once the deed is done, ALWAYS say you have to go to school now. It’s guaranteed to be the one place she WON’T want to go with you! In fact, the idea paralyzes them with fear. Haha!
