Thai Girl of The Week: Umi
Curfew problems? I see opportunity!
For a few days now we've been on lock-down basically not being able to go out after 10pm. Here in Chiang Mai it's really not so bad you could go out but there is nowhere to go! Everything is shut even 7/11!
The most annoying thing for many expats is the time shift, because staying awake all night sucks if you can't go out get a beer with the boys or find something to eat.
As annoying as it is it's created a huge opportunity for those savvy enough to take advantage.
Recently Thai Love Links Changed it's name to Thai Cupid. And by changing their name they embarked on a huge marketing campaign that is seeing thousands of new girls joining everyday!
Why are they doing this? Because the girls are on curfew too! They can't go to work they can't go out so they are sitting on Thai cupid chatting and hopefully spend the next night on lock-down with you.
Take advantage off this huge opportunity especially for the good Thai girls who actually have a job! These chicks normally don't have the time to sit and "chat" This is your chance to find girls that haven't.
So do yourself a favor and create a whole new profile so they you show up as a "new member" and show up on the top of the results. There's no better way to do it!
Good luck guys and if you're looking for a REAL girlfriend make sure you read the latest article.
Military, Reds, Yellow's who cares! Thailand still rocks!

Gadget of the Week: Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition
Currently, my favorite tablet on the market, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is the most powerful and intuitive tablet Samsung has made to date. It stacks up very well against the latest Apple product, and is far more useful in my opinion. The Galaxy Note comes packed with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS and a 1.9GHz Samsung Exynos 5420 Quad-Core Processor. It also has 32 GB Flash Memory and 3 gig of RAM, the most RAM to date of any Samsung tablet. Now here is some info for you non-tech junkies, you might be most interested in the 10.1-inch 2560x1600 WQXGA display with 4 million pixels, offering arguably the best display on the market and the 8MP rear camera includes LED flash and shoots video in full 1080p HD. Thailand Movie of the Week: X-Men: Days of Future Past
This is an extremely unique year in Hollywood, has anyone else noticed this? Usually 4 or 5 major high budget, appeal to everyone, action flicks will come out, like the Transformer movies, or the Iron Man movies, but 2014 is very very different. It seems like Every week one of these, $100+ million dollar budget movies are debuted like Godzilla, Captain America, Spider man, just to mention a few off the top of my head. I have no idea how they are going to make their money back. The Thais are really loving it though. They really love these superhero, action flicks. Ive taken a look at the major releases for the rest of 2014 and there is no sign of Hollywood slowing down! 2014 is easily the greatest year in movie history. Its not even a competition in my opinion. I wish someone would post total Hollywood budgets for every year since records are available... I guarantee 2014 blows every other year away by a mile.
