When details first imirged about the death of british citizen Kevin Attew, 57, from Aldershot it was reported by Thai authorities that the man died by suicide and drowned himself in a nearby lake. However further inquiries have revealed that the man was beaten to death and then left to die in the lake, an investigation is still ongoing.

The girlfriend of Mr K Attew still insists that the man known as his boyfriend attempted suicide, though pictures taken by his best friend clearly show the man was beaten up before his death. Unless he beat himself up it’s unlikely the man committed suicide thus a murder investigation has opened up.

Kevin apparently ran a successful bar on the island and people are quickly beginning to believe that has something to do with his death. Jelousy among Thai people and foreign owners is normal though rarely does it escalate to violence especially murder, Chinese businessmen have ran successful businesses in Bangkok for many many years, and Thai’s are always jelous of foreigners coming here to be successful where they are not.

Mr Attew was a member of a motorcycle club that had been the target of police investigations in the past, mistakenly taken for notorious motorcylce gang the Bandidos, however the club he belonged to was not apart of anything illegal well so they say.

Speculating on the death of the british citizen will be nothing but heresay, what is the motive for killing the man, the remarks from his girlfriend are puzzling, since they weren’t married she has nothing to gain. Puzzling it is that she insists it was a suicide too, is she covering something up more sinister.

  1. Who would do such a horrible thing & why? And why would his GF not be of more assistance in the investigation (unless she is afraid of the same fate)?
