Hotels on Beach Road Pattaya
Thing about Pattaya is you'll always find a cheaper room if you just show up as the cheaper places aren't listed on the likes of Agoda. On Beach Road be careful though and always make sure you check the room before you confirm especially in a non-listed hotel/guest house.
This is a super popular hotel the Pattaya Discovery Beach Hotel is popular with holiday makers either with a partner or the family. The rooms are good and the staff are very helpful. This is one very popular hotel being booked out during the low season. The reason it's so popular is because it's right near the beach on the quiet side of Pattaya Beach Road not to mention it's great value for money if you can get a sea view room these rooms have great views of the ocean.
I really like this hotel its the whole ambiance of the hotel that makes you feel really comfortable even though it still feels like it was built but a Russian mobster. Nonetheless it's very well appointed and has hardwood floors much better than the carpet floors you find at other hotels at this price range.

I don't know who picks the names of the hotels in Pattaya but whoever does has done a great job, take for example the Grover's Hotel, sounds like a place a backpacking tourist from England would stay at while they picked fruit at the outback. So yes this is a two star hotel and you're not going to get luxury here but you will get good value for money.

If your looking for a hotel that is on Beach road but is super close to the famous Walking street in Pattaya then you really couldn't get a better location than the Baywalk residence. They have suite rooms that are very well appointed and great value for money. Literally you walk out of the hotel turn left and your at walking street.

The Baan Sila hotel looks like an old Thai style apartment block painted an ugly pink color. Only a Thai person could have thought of this. Nonetheless it is one of the cheapest hotels you can book through agoda that sits on the Famous Beach Road Pattaya.

I don't understand this hotel, I mean it's really big, it's got a great location, but whoever decorated it is like colorblind or something. The rooms are really big too, if they just did an upgrade on the hotel this place would be packed all the time. For this reason I kinda got the feeling that it's Thai owned.

Surprisingly great views from this super cheap hotel on Beach Road Pattaya. I've never actually stayed here but looks like good value for money but like any super cheap hotel you don't want to stay there for more than a week. Be warned that this hotel is pretty much dated so don't expect it to be fancy new.

Burning Question..Have you ever heard of a report/complaint of bedbugs at any of the hotels in Thailand??? There was a huge bedbug problem here in the states last year;like 1 in 5 houses, hotels, motels had beddiebuggers, but the authorities are beating them back.
I had an experience in a Jomtien beach hotel once but that’s about it, though honestly don’t know much about bed bugs.
As far as pests goes, they’re the worst of any breed:They come out after the lights are doused [like hordes of zombies] and suck the blood from sleepers..They’re cunning little buggers..They don’t transmit any diseases, but they’re a royal pain in the ass.
