์Not for the squeamish or scared of heights jumping of a cliff looks great on TV better in person but to actually do it myself I’d sit that one out. The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series Finale ended at as Russia’s Artem Silchenko became the world champion with a spectacular 27 meter dive from a cliff on Hong Island in Krabi Province. Some really awesome videos can also be seen on their Facebook page.

Thailand Book Of The Week
You might of heard of Mike Fook, he’s one of the guys that inspired me to start this blog and now and then I’ll read his books. His Thailands sickest series is one that I enjoy because living here as an expat and running this blog I get my own share of crazies probably more than Mike. But as Mike says if people don’t hate you then your doing something wrong. This book is best read after the rest of the series either way it’s still a great read and if you run a Thailand blog I’d say this one in particular is a must read.
Thai Song of the week – ไม่บอกเธอ
Probably my most favourite Thai song of this year ไม่บอกเธอ by the hormones is one song you should definitely get to know.
Video of the week
Ever wanted to know what goes on in a soapy massage in Bangkok, then this video will explain “the other side”.
Thai Word of the Week – อีห่า
If you can’t speak Thai with fluency actually pulling off a swear word is like listening to Chinese try to use the word Fuck without sounding stupid. That said it’s good to know exactly what’s being said to you as well. The word อีห่า is used the same way we would say bitch. Like if your girl put salt in your cup of coffee on purpose to piss you off this would be the opportune time to caller her this word. In fact might either get a chuckle on how on earth you knew to say this or otherwise get a slap on the face. If bored try it.
Thailand Business of the Week – Paleo Robbie
On a Paleo diet and don’t have time to cook your own meals or what you cook tastes dreadful then Paleo Robbie might just be the answer for you. Bangkok Nomadic and online tribe would do well to know you can order everything online and have it delivered. What I like most is that all meats are pasture raised. Please note that it’s recommended that all meals are cooked in the Oven so if you don’t have one might be time to upgrade your crib. If you’re a restaurant owner in Bangkok you might also like to consider Paleo Robbie with their wholesale list of meats.
Question of the Week
Q Hey Chris love the blog! I’m planning a trip to Bangkok for 10 days, want to know where you recommend I stay, I’m not cheap but nothing overly expensive but must be guest friendly! Where do you recommend? Thanks Gil
A Hi Gil! There are plenty of recommendations I could make however for me Sasha Uno is the place I prefer to stay in Bangkok, it’s guest friendly, close to the BTS and shopping in the area, short stroll to Soi Cowboy and a station away from Nana. I figured by the guest friendly remark this is the area you want to be in.
