Interview with Thai Immigration

There's few people I follow online in Thailand mostly because I don't respect that they know what they are talking about but there's one guy I do follow. An American in Bangkok. Scott is exactly like my style, straight and to the point, doesn't view the world through rose colored glasses.

So Scott got a call from immigration and was asked to go in for a Q&A session regarding the visa extensions. His video is informative and it resonates with what I've been trying to explain to people. They want to fix up the problem with these people living day to day in Thailand on the brink doing visa runs for years until one day they fall off a motorbike and have no way to pay their bills or any means to leave the country!

I only wish that I would have heard his personal views on the situation especially what should be done to a guy who overstays for 10 years maybe scott will let us know here, but I understand why he wouldn't since he was asked by immigration.

Scott get's plugged on ThaiVisa.com and now he's dealing with the haters lol. Chowderheads. So if your coming from this Site leave him a message let him know what a good job he's doing. Or give him a rev cause it makes for a funny chowderhead video.

I just managed to get a double tourist entry visa from Laos. I don’t work in Thailand, I just holiday here for 6-9 months before I go back home and work, then spend my savings here.

I hope it all becomes clearer in the up coming weeks.

This kind of instance i’m not sure about. I don’t know about most the world but in Aus, UK, or USA and over 30 you couldn’t really do that either without flying out and flying in. I know you weren’t complaining and I hope it works out i’m just saying elsewhere you gotta fly out and fly back in so if Thailand goes the same way it’s just how things are. What i’m curious to know if you had to fly out and fly back in would you just say “bugger this” and not come to Thailand anymore? There’s plenty of options and If I were you i’d do a Business visa it’s super cheap and you won’t have problems like you might with a tourist visa, but you’d have to get a company here to sponsor you. Easy for me but I realize not everyone can do that.

If I had to start flying in and out, I would not stay in Thailand, not worth the hassle. I have some friends who are borderline sociopaths (as you mentioned in your PUA post recently), and I tell them this regularly. I would be much interested to see what they would do if it changed to 30 days fly in/out.

Would not surprise me if most would just overstay for years and not leave to go home even if they were broke.

If you don’t care what people think about you than why did you make a video about it?

1st you say you at 2;44 that you could care less about people bashing you ,
    and ,

”I could care less what you think about me” -2:56 then,

    ”DON’T BASH ME!”-3:51

One of the reasons I never liked this tool is because he seems to think that his is the final word. On one post I saw on youtube he dictated on how much money a person must have to live in Thailand. And if you did not have the kind of money that he ‘instructed” than get out or don’t come to Thailand. Who the hell is he to tell people how to live? Another loudmouth dictating peoples lives..no wonder chris loves him so much …they are the same ilk.

Speaking for myself I am retired have 100,000USD and my pension is 1600$ a month. I live in Chiang Mai and live very comfortably and still save 300-400$ a month. Of course if I ate like he does I’d be broke because it does’nt look like scott misses too many meals.

Im married and she working me i cant yet. We living with 500euros by month and arent starving … ok we dont have brand clothes or going expensive restaurant but our life is better there with 1 salary than in europe i did work and she didnt and 1 salary was barely enough to eat everyday. Thailand is much cheaper than most of folks thinks.
