Chiang Mai Meetup

It's actually been two years since my last public meetup, I don't normally do it but since I'm leaving Chiang Mai in a few months I think it's a good time. It also happens to be my mates Birthday, he owns the Angel Bar in the Loi Kroh boxing ring. Lots of local expats and businessmen around town will be down there I hope you can come.

Tomorrow Thursday 25th September 2014

The Hammer Game

Of course there is a good reason to go as well. The Sausage King will be catering the event so that you can eat for free while you down cheap beers. There will be a raffle as well with your chance to win VIP membership to this website as well as a short time with one of the girls, and a free breakfast at The Sausage King! Hope to see you there Thursday 8pm.

The Angels bar is typically where I've been starting all my nights at, the beers are cheaper than any other place and a lot of local expats are beginning to start their night out there so it's been a good meet-up place before starting your night. I normally play a game of Hammer with someone in the bar before I pump myself and head elsewhere.

If you're not sure where the Loi Kroh Boxing ring here's a map.

Everyone is welcome it starts at 8pm and the raffle is drawn at 10pm. I hope to see you all there.

Hi Chris I am over there in Thailand in November and was hoping we might have met up at some point in CM but now it doesn’t look very likely because atm I got no plans of going back into Bangkok

If you’re a VIP member I always have time to meetup.

Chris, I’ll give you a week to take down this site. That way you can keep your other (more wholesome pursuits) websites up.

Failure to so will result in you answering to Ministry of Information and Communication Technology, but perhaps you’ll be answering questions to someone right up the top of the food chain. I’ve little doubt they’ll find some of the content of your site insulting. Also consider the recent embarrassment of “off the cuff comments” made in relation to the murder of the backpackers on Ko Tao. You are exactly the type of person the authorities would love to make an example of, to save face if for no other reason.

So, give it some careful thought. You are very easy to find and you’re not the only so-called “fluent” Thai speaker in this neck of the woods.

Lol your really funny Ed, love the threats man are you going to come beat me up too? You should come tonight and bring the keyboard with you. Yes I’m easy to find, I live at minicostcm.com if i’m not there I’m at karaoke or the main police station in Chiang Mai. Your IP address is Singapore so we can all mark you down as TROLL, have fun stroking those keys.

Oh, man, I LOVE idiots like you! It’s fun trying to guess what issues you have that would compel you to write such drivel. Here are some of my guesses:

      1. You were molested at summer camp. When you were invited for a “special” fireside outing by one of the counselors, you jumped at the opportunity. When the topic of “weenie roasting” came up, you assumed that mustard and relish would be involved, but they weren’t. The thing that really pissed you off is that you enjoyed it more than you care to admit. Of course, the fact that you were 19 and still stayed in the kiddie dorm probably tells us a lot. Now, whenever grown men want to do something with their “naughty bits,” you fly into a rage because you realize you were duped.

      2. You were molested by the delivery guy. When your cosplay outfit arrived, you invited the delivery guy into your parents’ basement where you live, hoping to model your new geeky outfit for him. Things got out of hand and now you tell yourself that you were attacked because otherwise you’d have to admit you like wiener.

      3. You’re eaten alive by jealousy because these guys are living the lives they want and having fun. However, because you lack any sort of game or social skills, your pathetic attempts at being a “playa” always end with you waking up in an alley with your wallet emptied, your pants around your ankle and your ass hurts like someone shoved a pineapple in it. Again, you liked it more than you want to admit.

You know what these three theories have in common? They show what a loser you are.

You moving to BKK alone? Or you still with gf?

    • Chris September 25, 2014 at 12:51 pm #

I’ll be going with my girl, she’ll be studying at the Scandinavian Makeup School and likely we’ll move to a condo around Asoke which is close to the school.

oh no just read this… and I was in the boxing ring that night and saw the girls dressed up but I assumed it was just another ‘birthday party’ and took no notice

so you’re leaving (again)? I have bought a small place in Pattaya for regular breaks so if we dun meet in CM we could meet up in Patts if you’re around

    cheers bro

    • Chris September 29, 2014 at 8:59 am #

Yeah I tried Pattaya…a few times. Maybe I Need to be older or something cause it’s really not for me, strange as this sounds I didn’t think there were enough girls there…some say 20-40thousand girls in Pattaya but if you ask me that’s nothing, there’s about that many girls studying at CMU. I’ll try catch you in Patts though when i’m in Bkk ill probably go down for the weekend every month or so.

Ed’s comments were a bit hectic-

Whilst I don’t partake of the chaotic, naughty pleasures that you clearly do, I do enjoy learning and discovering ChiangMai through your words-

Hope idiots like Ed don’t deter your good work-

If someone doesn’t like it (sure their are many), they should go elsewhere – simples!

    Hey Chris,

Love your blog. Very entertaining. Actually motivated me to move up to Chiang Mai for a month and maybe longer depending on how I adapt. So far so good. Have few cuties already lined up for dates this week following your strategies, but would actually love to buy you a beer some night if you’re free. Let me know if you’re still around.

    • Chris January 21, 2015 at 12:33 am #

I live in Bangkok now! So if your down here I’ll take that beer! email me

      • Michael January 21, 2015 at 11:37 am #

Bangkok?! Nice. I’m actually torn between the two places CM and BKK. Have a bunch of friends in BKK and I like the variety there. Food/Girls. Country-Hiso. Any thoughts on comparing the 2 lifestyles?

        • Chris January 21, 2015 at 6:01 pm #

I’m only here for 6-12 months then I go back to Chiang Mai, most of my friends are in CM so it’s all new here so far so good but too early to compare it.
